Two instances of major game lag where the game seems to come to a halt but continue in the background, albeit still struggling to even do this and then rapidly catches up.
The first occurs when water fills in a hole, this is easily reproducible and lag ceases after water settles.
The second occurs with mobs who are close to the edge of the map. Specifically, I suspect, if they try to path off the map. For most mobs it's no issue as they head towards the player. However for the green drill monsters and occasionally for workers this seems to trigger the same kind of grinding lag until they decide to change direction.
Not sure if anyone else is experiencing these problems, but figured I'd mention them.
Finally I've noticed some monsters just after spawning (and my dog if I get to close to the wall to steal some stone) that they can and do walk off the map. Disappearing forever.
In other news made it to hell in Devel Survival mode and got absolutely smashed for it. Great fun! Jump is my new best friend. No more drowning because I fell into water without stairs.
