Hello. I recenetly got this game, the same as my friend. We\'re trying to play online but have no idea how. I get a error when trying to creat a online game, saying my firewall is blocking it. My firewall is allowing it.
Can someone explain the process to setting up a server?

Is your router/switch/hub accepts incoming connections?
-------------------------------------------------------
The message you receive indicates that the master server has not been able to connect to your computer.
Therefore, other player wont see your game in the \"Search game menu\".
This is generally due to the firewall or your router/switch/hub.
From what I saw, the router is often the problem since the default configuration of routers used to connect to internet are blocking incoming connections.
If you don\'t see your friend server in the server browser, you can always try to directly connect to your friend server with his IP.
But in most cases, you will be confronted to the same firewall/router problem.

If you\'re on the same network you only need to configurate the firewall on the server pc and not the router to let the packets through, but you\'ll use the vconnect over IP function then because the online server won\'t know about the server if the router blocks the packets.
If you aren\'t on the same network than you could use software like hamatchi that emulates a lan....

I\'m not the greatest with these things, so that is why a guide or a better understanding to allow ips and whatnot would be most helpful.

Y\'know, Achoum. I think this MIGHT be a bug.
Before, I had no problems hosting, after I bypassed the port problem. Now I have the same issue, even though I unlocked the firewall.
I\'ll try to do more in this regard, but could you two try hosting a server? Through a client, both jar and exe.

We\'ll test again tonight if you can.
But we play two days ago, and it worked perfectly...

Unblock port 54000. It's listed when you create a game although there is most likely other ports involved.
