Are there any plans for Larger World\World sizes? The world at current does seem really small.

i kinda have to agree, i know the point is to stay in one position, but maybe you could add like an exploration mode perhaps?

Actually, I have been working into extending the world to the infinity (like minecraft). But since it is not really useful in the current survival mod, I do not use it. However, that is definitively something that might be cool for a land exploration mod.

I'd like to throw in my two cents as well.
The world size was fine before mining for iron ore (to sell iron armor) went in. After that happened, I'd almost completely excavated the entire map by day 24. A larger map is kind of important if you're going to be a prolific miner - or at least a deeper map, with more than three layers of dirt to dig.

I know that this topic is rather old (I do not know this forum's view of necromancy) so I apologize ahead of time.
Large maps would be a great feature.
Different region types would definitely make the player want to explore the world.
If each region had a merchant that sold different things then the player would want to travel to that region to buy that specific item. (maybe desert merchant could sell flame resistant things and snow merchant sell freezing turrets).
Basically, a larger map would need something to lure the player out into world and explore.
