Just something small to consider and forgive me if this is going to be added already.

I think there should be a breath meter that depletes while in water (or maybe under water) just so it doesn't feel like water is lava as it currently decreases your health in blocks of four by just being in it.

Crap, I posted an idea about water before I have read this.

This idea would actually work in tangent with what I just posted regarding water gear. The player would be able to know how much breath they have left before they drown. Also, if oxygen tanks were implemented for swimming gear, the player would know how much oxygen they would have left before the tank is empty.

This would be a life saver literally I always fall in the water and die.

I would at least like to be able to hold my breath for 5 seconds or so, to prevent many cases of accidental damage. I find it silly that the first thing that my character does when they hit water is think they should take a deep breath.

Very good idea, water is really overpowered with the lack of several quickslots to quickly access stairs at the moment.

THATS GREAT BECAUSE I HATE DROWNDING. Also mabye make the player able to swim.
