So my screen in bottom corner says full version, but after i beat the catterpillar/lava boss it says in a popup "you beat the first boss, to go on you must upgrade to full version, blah blah" then a screen to purchase.
what am i doing wrong? i paid on paypal. i want to go on! but time blinks LOCKED

I think when you purchase the game, you have to go back and download the paid version of the client. There is a free version, and a full version. When you get the full version, you will be asked to log in. If you don't have an account, you can create one here:

i did that once already and it used to say FREE VERSION or TRIAL or whatever in the bottom corner - now it does say FULL VERSION but i still got that popup.
so frustrated because i finally got to the lava worm and beat his arse!
any more ideas???
love this game - it is like an aggressive version of "timber and stone" with more of a purpose (love TaS too though)

Hmm, that's interesting. Have you gotten that dialogue box more than once since you've paid for the full version? It could have just been a glitch. I can imagine it's frustrating to have your run cut short because of a bug, and not because of anything you did. The only other thing that I can think of is maybe you didn't restart your client after you registered your account, and somehow the client didn't recognize you as a paid user. I would suggest just trying again, and get back to me if you still get the message after the lava centipede.

well i am sad to say that was the first time id made it that far but i have restarted several times and re downloaded since buying full version.
kind of confused as to what to try except redownload again.

here is a screencap before and after i log in.. does that look right to everyone?
how can i completely uninstall game to start over? that might be good idea. is there a way to clear everything? not really keen on windows 7 just got it. thanks

That looks pretty normal to me. There is a folder in your C Drive, probably under the folder called your computer name, called .buildanddefend. If you delete that folder, it will automatically re-download next time you run the .exe. Try that and get back to me.

deleting the .buildanddefend folder worked!
made it to day 16 and then drowned!!! so its on now!!!
do soldier and crafter workers automatically do their thing? or do i need to buy / give tools?

Great! Glad we figured that out. The workers will do their thing without any extra tools. Make sure you have your areas set up like "harvest/plant wheat." Also, they are much more efficient at gathering of you don't keep a "store wood/wheat" area set. Let them keep it on them and occasionally tell the to store it.
