It seems like whenever I get a worker no matter how much I feed them they starve to death regardless, I've given them upwards of 40 pieces of wheat and they die, I give them meat and berries and that sort of thing but they don't eat them.

Have same problem, no ideawhat wrong
if u want them to eat, retrieve there zone "deposit wheat here" then give then some wheat or let them pick up some and they will eat them.
Achoum: if u can add a "take/eat food zone" or make the worker keep 2 spare wheat for eating it can solve the problem.
