Okay, how do I tear down a building I've already placed by accident?

You deconstruct a block with a pickaxe, wich you can buy from the merchant. Equip it and then a red selection will appear, showing the block that you are aiming at
And you can deconstruct a "building" (like a workshop) by simply go over the building and pressing the "inventory" button.
For some constructions (like towers), this will works.
For some others (like the workshop), you need to go to the right menu (right arrow) and selection the option to deconstruct.
