After looking at other peoples creations, and seeing the few youtube vids on this game, and after the recent change to how wheat is grown, i would like it to count water not only to the 4 edges of the block the wheat is on, but also below it. for example, you dig a tunnel, under your wheat farm, attach it to your river to flood the tunnel, the wheat above on the grass grows.
i think i've explained it so that what i'm trying to say is understandable i hope lol.
this or add a block or item that can be crafted to cover these holes that are necessary now to grow wheat, granted i get the concept of being careful around them, and that you can build stairs in the small ditches to get out, but realistically, anyone who had a ditch in their fort, would have some form of grating over it lol.
just an idea, even a grate would work, as it stands if you build anything over water blocks, to cover them after filling them, the wheat stops detecting the water beside it.
