Just wondering im new also leaving any tips would really help :D

Also can i do something like /suicide if i get stuck? Because i get stuck in a 1 block depth all the time like falling into a half filled water lake etc.

You can buy a basic workbench from the salesman right near the start. To build higher quality benches you need workers to build them once you have the right components.

As for falling into a hole, the best option is to always carry a staircase with you then you just dig another square out and put the steps down to get up.
