Suggestions & Ideas : Meteorites are silly and annoying

I suggest removing the meteorites.
I see why you've added them, but I think they're just silly.
When I was trying to beat my own record of survival days, my base got hit in the middle of it and monsters swarmed in.

I like the dudes who drills their way into the base, because you can try to prevent them from coming into your base. However meteorites are just random and if they hit you or your base, you're basically screwed.

Once I was 1 day from my personal record, and the meteorite hit me straight in the head and I died. There's nothing I can do to prevent it from ruining my entire base or hitting me.

This random destroying of your base I do not like. I like the drilling enemies, because you can actually prevent them from destroying your base, unlike meteorites.

So I want meteorites to be removed :/

Opinions, please? :)

I understand the frustration :)
Let's wait for other opinions, and if there are in the same way, I do something about it.

Ps: The Alpha 7 will be released by tonight.

Right now, it's 11:55am for me (GTM+1).
This means that I'll release the Alpha 7 in 6 to 9 hours (approximately).

About that, I think it might be cool to show a little flag next to each person nickname in the forum. I always find pleasant to know that I am talking to somebody in another country.

If I do that, the user will have to configure his/her country by himself of course -- or he/she might just doesn't set anything.

I like meteorites. It makes game FUN.
I got angry when I started playing, but now even when my map looks like Swiss Cheese I simply don't care.
I guess that's because I give up sitting in base after I get 30 wheat, and maybe get some more wheat after I get addy. But overally, I just run around and kill everything.
I might be missing the purpose of the game.

Well, it's annoying when you actually try to beat your record, since you can randomly for no reason get a huge hole in your base and you get swarmed by enemies and die.

If something's going to destroy my base, I want to know why and also be able to do something about it. Like the guys with drills etc, since you can stop them, but several of them who destroys your walls are really destructive. They are at least fun though and I don't want them to get removed.

Okay. I will remove the meteorites from the real world. But don't feel safe. You will at some point have to deal with them (maybe in another dimension).
